Always reliable, great lenses

I've ordered from Opticcolors a few times now, and they're always consistent. This last order, I got the green vivid series lenses, and they arrived in about 8 days to Florida, just like my previous orders. The quality is still good, and they're comfortable for daily wear. I keep coming back because I know what I'm getting. It's nice not to worry about quality with these guys.

Good deal on grey lenses

I was looking for some grey color lenses and found Opticcolors. I saw they had a buy 2 get 1 free deal, so I grabbed three pairs of the grey premium series. It made the cost per pair pretty decent. Shipping took a little over a week, which was fine. The lenses themselves are comfortable and look natural enough. Overall, I feel like I got good value for what I paid. Happy with the purchase.

Does anyone know if they do any student discounts? Trying to save a few bucks.

M Megan Thomas 1 week ago
I think they do! I remember seeing something about it on their site or through Student Beans maybe? Worth checking.

Yeah, they usually have one. Look for a link in their footer or FAQ, that's where I found it before.

Found a 10% off code and seeing a 'buy 2 get 1 free' deal. Can I use both of those together?

Z Zach Campbell 1 week ago
Nah, pretty sure their codes usually don't stack with the bundle deals. It's usually one or the other.

B Brian Garcia 1 week ago
That's what I found too. I tried to use a coupon with a BOGO offer once and it just applied the better discount, not both.

What's their return policy like? If I open the box and try one on and it's not the right color, can I send it back?

R Rachel Lopez 4 weeks ago
Unfortunately, once they're opened, you can't return them. It's for hygiene reasons, makes sense for contacts.

B Brandon King 3 weeks ago
Yeah, pretty standard for contact lenses. Best to be sure of the color before you break the seal.

is Opticcolors legit? like, are these safe to wear? never heard of them before.

P Patricia 1 month ago
I've used them for a while, no issues. They're a real company, not some fly-by-night thing.

They're CE certified, which is a good sign for safety and quality in Europe, and they ship internationally. I've had good experiences.

Are these lenses really natural looking? I want to change my eye color but don't want it to look super fake.

A Andrew Davis 1 month ago
Their Natural series is pretty good for that. I got the honey ones and they blend in nicely, not like costume lenses at all.

L Laura Jackson 1 month ago
I've heard good things about the Premium series too, supposed to be even more subtle. Just avoid the Vivid series if you want subtle, those are more intense.

Hey, I'm thinking of getting some daily lenses from here. Does anyone know if they ship to like, New York City, and how long it usually takes to get there?

J James Nelson 1 week ago
Yeah, they definitely ship to the US. I'm in Philly and got mine in about 10 days last month.

I'm in LA and it took closer to two weeks for my last order, so plan for a bit of a wait, especially if you need them for something specific.

How do these compare to Solotica lenses? Soloticas are so pricey but good, wondering if these are a decent alternative.

A Anthony Scott 2 weeks ago
Opticcolors are definitely more affordable than Solotica. The naturalness is pretty close, maybe not quite Solotica level but very good for the price point. I like their comfort more than some other brands.

I've tried both. Solotica might have a *tiny* edge on naturalness for some shades, but Opticcolors holds up really well, especially their Premium series. Plus, the price difference is huge, so it's a great alternative if you're on a budget.

Do I need to upload a prescription for these if I'm just getting the non-prescription ones? Or even for the power ones?

P Patricia Robinson 3 weeks ago
For non-prescription, no, you don't need one. Just pick your color.

B Brian 3 weeks ago
If you need power though, yes, you gotta have a valid prescription. They're still medical devices, even if they're colored.
